Re: Becoming One With the Forests, Woodlands and Mother Nature During This Trying Season of Our Lives: My Impressions

That's is beautiful CT. I can close my eyes and imagine it. I often wonder if these trying times might be Gods way of making us STOP our normal lives and think about how we are living each day. People have been forced to slow down a bit and hopefully appreciate the little things in life. Glad you ar...

Re: And Just When You Thought Foliage Season was Over

Beautiful pics!! So happy that some people are still getting to enjoy the fall colors. We have had our 2nd if not 3rd snowfall in Colorado so they are long gone here. I never get tired of looking at the pics and wish it wasn't over :( I so love Vermont and its spectacular foliage

Re: Where to go to see peak foliage the weekend of 10/12

Stowe Gondola has great color but the farther you go up it seemed muted compared to past years.
We saw alot of great color today. Went on hog back road and down 12 to Montpelier. That's a great ride!
We were on 89 going to Tilton NH. The color was good and got better the farther we went into NH.

Re: Where to go to see peak foliage the weekend of 10/12

I was trying to post a pic of the trees outside our room Stowe Mountain Lodge (Spruce Peak) but no luck. The colors that are here are bright unlike some we have seen so far. We are going up the gondola tomorrow so I will report back. These are some of the best colors we have seen in Vermont so far. ...

Re: Dog Mountain, St. Johnsbury

That is so hard to read. I'm glad you found the strength CT to get through, especially since you have always wanted to go there. I'm not sure I could do it. After we lost our last little dog(chocolate cocker) it was devastating to me. She was like one of our kids. What a special place....I'm glad yo...

Re: Woodstock and surrounding

We made it to Cloudland Road yesterday entering from the north. There is a sign that says closed to thru traffic. Some people parked on the road and walked in, others drove in and turned around then back. I've heard Sleepy Hollow Farm is for sale right now. Wish I had 3 million  Its very ch...

Re: Peacham, Peacham, Peacham... Ready to peak any day and the most idyllic place on earth!

I really wanted to go to Autumn on the green and was trying to decide if it was worth it to travel back up there once we were settled in Woodstock. I quickly made the decision to stay here once we arrived. We are in love with the place we are staying at. We kinda just want to stay here and do nothin...

Re: Woodstock and surrounding

Did you come onto Cloudland Road from the north Minnesotaman? We tried to enter from the south and the road was closed. They are working on that bridge. We were going to try to enter from the north tomorrow. I was just curious if the road closure just happened very recently and if it was still possi...
