Hiking is available in all the state parks and the Green Mountain National Forest. Stick to Rte. 100, and you'll drive through a lot of national forest access, and the Ranger Station in Rochester has tons of information. Hope you have a great trip!<BR>Susanne

If you'll be on I-91, I recommend taking it north into Vermont, at that time of October, southern Vermont will have the best color.
