Re: Foliage color in the NEK
Foliage season is coming to an end here in the NEK. I took this photo today of Lake Memphremagog looking north into Canada with the Owl's Head Ski mountain in the distance. Re: Foliage color in the NEK
The color in the NEK is now past peak. The color has been stunning. I was on the Newport bike path today trying to outrun the big rain storm that was coming. The clouds were moving in, but out of the blue there was this image that I had to take with my Go Pro!

Re: Foliage color in the NEK
It's a cloudy day in the NEK...the color is still at peak and there has not been heavy rain yet or much leaf drop. I headed out to a great water fall spot at Coventry, just south of Newport. Despite the drought, the Coventry Falls are still working! coventry_falls.jpg See this in full screen and oth...

State foliage report for September 25th, 2020
This week marks the official start of fall, and that feels right in sync with what we are experiencing on the ground. Early risers in many parts of Vermont have awakened to a moonlit silver sheen of frost on the ground, and cool and abundantly sunny days have made for perfect leaf peeping weather. F...
