The color in the NEK is now past peak. The color has been stunning. I was on the Newport bike path today trying to outrun the big rain storm that was coming. The clouds were moving in, but out of the blue there was this image that I had to take with my Go Pro!

Foliage color in the NEK is near peak! I was on the bike path in Newport late this afternoon and saw these swamp maples "on fire" as they say. BTW, the cell tower you see on the hill in the distance is in Canada.
While there, I saw this eagle? Can anyone identify it?
