You can post here on this board if you pay for it, just like any other advertising. Contact me if yo...

State Foliage Report for September 20th

SEPTEMBER 20, 2017 As gorgeous late summer weather continues to bring warmth, bright sunshine, and scattered showers, fall foliage colors are developing nicely, albeit gradually, throughout most of Vermont. The Northeast Kingdom is fast approaching peak color however, and is expected to be at 50–75 ...

360 Degree Aerial Panoramas of Foliage Scenes

I have just completed my first aerial 360 degree foliage panorama of Lake Willoughby, south beach, taken on the morning of September 17th. I hope to do some more, but they take a while to put together. This link will work with an iPhone or other mobile devices but for the best viewing experience you...

State Foliage report for: SEPTEMBER 14, 2017 It is on. Vermont's annual fall foliage show has begun and although it is still early, there is already some great fall color in every region of the state. Some individual trees throughout Vermont are already in full display in front yards; on town greens...

Re: Are We Headed for an Early Foliage Season in VT?

I agree. Foliage color seems to be coming on fast, almost everywhere. I was down in the Killington area this past weekend and the color change was very similar to what I am seeing in northeastern VT. However, remember that one can be tricked by this. The color change can pause for a while then pick ...

Re: First Fall Video NEK by Admin (Tim) Seymour Lake and Morgan VT

Yes, the leaves are showing signs of the coming color. Bear in mind this video was taken around 5 pm....around the golden hour, so the color has a natural warmth to it. Will do another one after the frost :)

Lake Willoughby in summer...very early signs of fall?

Here is an aerial panorama of South Beach, at Lake Willoughby, taken at the end of July 2017. You can see that at the higher altitudes around Mount Pisgah there are signs of the foliage darkening, while at lower elevations it is still a brilliant green. http://www.droneflynewengland.com/southbeach/s...

Recent Vermont Weather

Here in north eastern Vt, all I hear in the stores and elsewhere this spring is people complaining about the weather. "It's raining again, will it ever stop! " Yes, there has been plenty of rain and a sunny day has been rare. We get one sunny day, then about four of five days of cloudy sky...

Beyond leaf peeping, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy Vermont’s mountain...
