Still some good color in the NEK
A wind storm is yet to sweep the foliage color away in the NEK, so there is some good color stilll to be seen. Got this overview of Echo Lake on Sunday.

Climbed to Prospect Rock outside Johnson on October 7th, 2021. Like most of northern Vermont, the foliage color is in full blast!

Have just driven I-91 from the Quebec border to White River Junction. Color was at peak all the way south rto St.Johnsbury, but after that it was about half color and dark brown then more green nearing WRJ. Job's Pond at peak
Most of the NEK is not a peak yet, but in the northeast corner, north of Newark and around Island Pond, the foliage color is at peak. An example is Job's Pond, which is south west of Island Pond. It was surprising to find the color late in the afternoon of September 26th.
