A wind storm is yet to sweep the foliage color away in the NEK, so there is some good color stilll to be seen. Got this overview of Echo Lake on Sunday.

Some swamp maples in the northeast have been a bit lack lustre but this lot along the Newport Recreational path look pretty good!

A moment of sunshine and full color at Job's Pond On September 28th.

Most of the NEK is not a peak yet, but in the northeast corner, north of Newark and around Island Pond, the foliage color is at peak. An example is Job's Pond, which is south west of Island Pond. It was surprising to find the color late in the afternoon of September 26th.
