Yeah, I could, but I think it's more dramatic this way.

Some very nice shots there. I saw Maine for the first time a couple of years ago and got a few nice shots. I love New England in the Fall.

Thanks. I got at least one good shot; maybe a few other decent shots, but not what I was hoping for. Yeah, it's hard to forecast "the right time" for peak color with leaves still on the trees. I heard wind blew off the leaves a couple days before I arrived in Vermont. So close... :( The weather didn...

Jenne Farm

I arrived a little late to Vermont this year and the leaves had fallen off a lot of trees by the time I got there :( , i.e. Sleepy Hollow Farm after October 12th. The weather was bad most of the time too. I managed to get a good shot of Jenne Farm though: http://www.rickbakerimages.com/ebay/Jenne_Fa...

Wow!. I hope I see scenes like that when I'm in Vermont. I'll be up in Stowe and in the North for a couple of days(on the 8th and 9th) and then down to Woodstock for a week. I might be late up North though.

I note you are from Nebraska so I will try to help another Nebraskan. We have been to Vermont 10 out of the past 12 years and no where have we have two years exactly the same. We try to catch about 5 days between the 3rd and the 10th for the Peak foliage. Elevation, latitute, plus closeness to wate...

Oct 8th Too Late for Stowe?

Hi. I'm going to be in Stowe on October 8th and 9th. I had picked this date, hoping that it would be the right time for peak color. I was out there for the first time, a couple of years ago and it was just a bad year for foliage. Looking at recent reports and photos, I'm worrying that I'm going to b...
