Frommers Fall Folliage travel book (any book store) is also good. It comes with a map in it of all NE. I too would like a good map of Vermont. I'll get one when I get there. I'm going the 26th of Sep thru 5 October. I'm staying in Northern VT, but driving from Providence RI. I found the airfares cheaper. However, you may find a more direct flight to Boston and drive it. Frommer's New England book came with a great map. If you look real close you can see that Route 7 and 100 go north, Connecticut all the way through Vermont. I'm told that Hwy 89 is loaded with foliage. At night there are no lights so it's really dark. Watch out for deer. I've not been there before, ...

I started booking my trip in April and found many places booked. I've not been there vacationing before. Base yourself in just two places or even one. Example: it takes 8 hours to drive from Lake Champlain area, VT to Camden, Maine, (on the coast). That's going across 3 states. But it takes like 4 h...
