Trout jumping on the Willoughby River

Locals gather to watch the steelhead trout jumping the Willoughby rapids on April 20th, 2006. The fish like to jump on a sunny day. To take these pictures you have to set your camera to sequential shooting and at 1/1000 of sec. You have to be shooting before the fish actually jump. Sometimes you get an indication when to start shooting because the trout will often poke their heads up out of the water before they jump.
