The Carriage House of Woodstock Bed & Breakfast is the place to be in Vermont for relaxation, romance, a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere in one of the area's finest historic homes.

This c.1830's farmhouse was renovated and refurbished with every aspect of guest comfort in mind. All rooms have a blend of Victorian with new furniture creating the atmosphere you expect. Guests appreciate and comment on our attention to detail and our immaculately clean home. The nine cozy guest rooms with have queen size beds with private baths (one has a king size bed and a fireplace). Several of the rooms also have TV's and whirlpool tubs. A couple of the rooms can easily accommodate an extra twin bed. The rooms have individual heat and air conditioning.

Have fun in the family room watching our Big Screen TV or enjoy our parlor designed for quiet conversation or reading.

Breakfast is a memorable hightlight of the day! Guests awaken to the aroma of muffins, cinnamon buns or other delectable baked treats. A fresh fruit plate and fresh squeezed juice continues to wet the appetite for the sumptuous breakfast entree (e.g. French Toast, Belgian Waffles, Pancakes and more.) No one has an excuse to leave this table hungry (although if you don't have a huge appetite there's always granola and other cereals to choose from). You are invited to dine with other guests at our wonderful table that seats twelve, or enjoy a romantic breakfast at the smaller table in the bay window alcove.

Woodstock has it all! The area abounds in quaint antique shops and museums such as Billings Farm, Dana House, and the Rockefeller Mansion at the National Park. Visit the Raptor Center or Simon Pearce Glass Factory to watch glass blowing, pottery making or Irish weaving. As you view our spectacular fall foliage, you will enjoy waterfalls and historic covered bridges. Winter offers cross country and downhill skiing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, and ice skating. In spring, take a hike or bike ride and watch spring come alive with budding trees and blooming daffodil and iris. In the summer you can also enjoy fishing, golfing, horseback riding, swimming and canoeing nearby. Whether you come for simple quiet and relaxation, or to enjoy the numerous activities, we will help make your visit as pleasant and memorable as possible. Feel free either to call and make reservations -- or just stop to see if any rooms are available the next time you are in the area. Prices vary from $95 to $170 per room and rates are seasonal. To respect the comfort of all guests, we do not allow smoking or pets.

HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!
