Flint Lock Musketry Demonstrated at Vermont Historical Exposition in Tunbridge
Sherman Lohnes demonstrates the firing of a British Army flint lock musket at the 2005 Vermont Historical Exposition in Tunbridge. The musket was used by Whitcomb's Rangers during the War of Independence. Whitcomb's Rangers came from New Hampshire and Vermont and were chiefly engaged in spying operations against the British in Canada.
The movie clips below help explain how the musket worked.
